Before joining PDC, Holly worked across hospitality and healthcare - from café kitchens to a hospital room service role, where she took patient food orders and ensured meals matched individual dietary requirements, medical conditions, and allergies. It sharpened her attention to detail and deepened her interest in how food supports health.
That interest started early. Growing up, food was always central at home - to Holly, a meal made with care was a form of love, a connection that even led to a MasterChef Kids audition and has shaped her passion for nutrition ever since.
What Holly values most is the difference the right approach makes to someone's confidence. In line with Perth Diabetes Care's philosophy, she's passionate about helping people feel empowered to take control of their health and challenge assumptions about what's possible - often the science isn't complicated, it just needs to be explained in a way that makes sense for the individual. Approachable and people-focused, she enjoys building genuine relationships and learning each client's story as much as setting goals together. Progress is rarely linear, but watching clients persevere and reach their goals is what makes the work rewarding.
