Accredited Practising Dietitians providing evidence-based, non-diet nutrition care for diabetes, weight, heart, gut and kidney health. Medicare, NDIS, DVA and private health accepted.
Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are university-qualified nutrition professionals credentialled by Dietitians Australia. Our dietitians take a non-diet, food-first approach: building sustainable eating habits that fit your life rather than prescribing restrictive diets.

We support diabetes nutrition including carbohydrate counting and blood glucose optimisation, weight management, heart health and cholesterol, kidney disease at every stage, gut health including IBS and the FODMAP approach, coeliac disease, food allergies and intolerances, gestational diabetes, and supportive nutrition care alongside eating disorder treatment.

We believe in working with you, not telling you what to do. Your dietitian takes time to understand your food preferences, cultural background, cooking skills, budget and lifestyle, then develops practical nutrition strategies that actually work day to day.

Medicare rebates apply with a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, most health funds rebate dietetics under Extras cover, and we welcome NDIS participants and DVA card holders. Book online or call the clinic nearest you.

What happens at a first appointment with a PDC dietitian in Perth, who dietetics is for, the conditions and nutrition goals we help with, and what Medicare, NDIS, DVA and private health cover. Open each panel for the detail.
Your initial consultation runs about 45–60 minutes. We start by understanding how you eat now, not how a textbook says you should. Your dietitian reviews your health history, goals and food preferences, then builds small, realistic changes that fit your routine, budget and culture.
Anyone wanting to manage weight, blood glucose, cholesterol, kidney health or gut symptoms with food that still feels like theirs. We work with individuals and families, through pregnancy, and alongside your GP and specialists.
Practical, personalised nutrition care across the areas that matter most:
Evidence-based dietetics across a broad range of health conditions:
A Medicare rebate of $63.40 per visit (MBS item 10954) applies with a valid GP referral and Chronic Condition Management Plan, for up to five allied health visits a calendar year. Most health funds with Extras cover provide a rebate for dietetics, and we also see clients through DVA, WorkCover and the NDIS. Self-funded appointments are always welcome. A gap fee may apply. Contact reception to confirm your entitlements.
We will match you with the right dietitian at your nearest clinic or via telehealth. No referral is needed for private appointments.
Questions about seeing a dietitian at PDC Health Hub? We’ve answered the most common ones below.

Eligible patients with a GPCCMP can access up to 5 individual allied health visits per calendar year (shared across all allied health providers). Item 10954 applies for dietetics, with a Medicare rebate of $63.40 per visit.

Please bring any GP referral, recent blood test results (including HbA1c, lipids, and kidney function if relevant), your Medicare card, health insurance card, and a list of current medications or supplements.
Initial consultations typically run 45–60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes. Your APD will guide you on recommended review frequency based on your condition and goals.
