Resistance bands, loops, weights, foam rollers and massage balls for the exercise programme your clinician has set. These are private purchase items.
Overview
Most rehabilitation and strength programmes rely on a small kit you can use at home between sessions. Bands and tubing let you add resistance gradually, light weights build strength through a full range of movement, and rollers and massage balls help with self-release.
The same equipment is used in our exercise physiology and physiotherapy sessions, so what you practise with us carries straight over to home.
Exercise equipment is not subsidised through the NDSS. These are private purchase items.
Buying guide
Choose the resistance your programme calls for, not the hardest you can manage.
If you are not sure which level to buy, ask your Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist at your next session.
What you pay depends on your NDSS entitlement, so choose an option on a card to see its price before adding it to the cart. Concession, Closing the Gap, DVA and private purchase prices all differ, and eligibility is verified before dispensing.

PDC Health Hub is an NADC accredited Secondary Diabetes Centre in East Victoria Park. The clinicians who supply your consumables can also help you get more out of them, whether that is a pump review, a foot check or working out how food and activity fit around your glucose levels.
Call Pharmacy 777 Bedford and describe your meter, pump or sensor. Our pharmacists are Credentialled Diabetes Educators and will confirm exactly which product fits before you order.
