Auto CPAP machines from ResMed, Philips, Lowenstein and Yuwell, including the ResMed AirMini for travel. CPAP is used once sleep apnoea has been diagnosed.
Overview
A CPAP machine blows gently pressurised air through a mask to keep your throat open while you sleep. It is the main treatment for obstructive sleep apnoea.
Auto machines, often called APAP, adjust the pressure through the night as your breathing changes. Fixed pressure machines deliver one pressure set by your clinician. Most home machines include a heated humidifier, which stops the air feeling dry, and many send your therapy data to an app so you and your clinician can see how it is going.
Sleep apnoea equipment is not subsidised through the NDSS. These are private purchase items.
Some private health insurance policies include a benefit for CPAP machines, depending on your level of cover, so check with your fund before you buy.
Buying guide
Our Sleep Clinic can set up your machine, fit your mask and review your data, so book a consultation before you buy if you are new to CPAP.
What you pay depends on your NDSS entitlement, so choose an option on a card to see its price before adding it to the cart. Concession, Closing the Gap, DVA and private purchase prices all differ, and eligibility is verified before dispensing.

PDC Health Hub is an NADC accredited Secondary Diabetes Centre in East Victoria Park. The clinicians who supply your consumables can also help you get more out of them, whether that is a pump review, a foot check or working out how food and activity fit around your glucose levels.
Call Pharmacy 777 Bedford and describe your meter, pump or sensor. Our pharmacists are Credentialled Diabetes Educators and will confirm exactly which product fits before you order.
