Jobst travel socks, knee high and waist high compression stockings, and a stocking donner to help put them on.
Overview
Compression hosiery applies graduated pressure, firmest at the ankle, to support blood flow back up the leg. It is used for tired or swollen legs, on long flights and as part of the management of some vein conditions.
Compression is measured in mmHg. Lighter compression around 15 to 20 mmHg suits travel and everyday tired legs, while 20 to 30 mmHg is a medical level that should be chosen with a clinician.
Compression hosiery is not subsidised through the NDSS. These are private purchase items.
Buying guide
Our podiatrists can measure you and check compression is safe for you, which matters more for people living with diabetes.
What you pay depends on your NDSS entitlement, so choose an option on a card to see its price before adding it to the cart. Concession, Closing the Gap, DVA and private purchase prices all differ, and eligibility is verified before dispensing.

PDC Health Hub is an NADC accredited Secondary Diabetes Centre in East Victoria Park. The clinicians who supply your consumables can also help you get more out of them, whether that is a pump review, a foot check or working out how food and activity fit around your glucose levels.
Call Pharmacy 777 Bedford and describe your meter, pump or sensor. Our pharmacists are Credentialled Diabetes Educators and will confirm exactly which product fits before you order.
