NADC accreditation shows a diabetes service has been assessed against national standards set by the National Association of Diabetes Centres (NADC), a division of the Australian Diabetes Society.
The NADC brings together organisations involved in diabetes care and was set up to improve standards of care for people living with, or at risk of, diabetes.
Its accreditation programmes include service standards accreditation, Centre of Excellence accreditation, and specific programmes for pharmacies, high-risk foot services and diabetes technology. Accreditation looks at how a service is staffed, organised and governed, and how it measures and improves its care.
Our clinicians can explain how this applies to you and help with the next step, whether that is a referral, a device, funding or a plan the rest of the team can see.
