Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company and one of the world's largest insulin manufacturers. Its Australian portfolio spans insulins such as NovoRapid, Fiasp, Levemir and Ryzodeg, GLP-1 medicines including Ozempic, and the NovoPen durable insulin pen range.
Levemir (insulin detemir) is still available, but Novo Nordisk is discontinuing it from December 2026. If you use Levemir, talk to your doctor or diabetes educator about switching to another insulin well before your supply runs out. Our pharmacists and Credentialled Diabetes Educators can help you plan the change.
Bedford Pharmacy 777 dispenses Novo Nordisk medicines on the PBS, and our pharmacists and diabetes educators support safe use, storage and injection technique.
