Type Strong Patches for infusion sets are clear adhesive patches for people using an insulin pump. They are designed to help keep your infusion set in place, and clear tape is discreet on the skin.
Clear patches, sold singly or in a pack of 20. Check the packaging for the infusion sets the patch is shaped to suit.
Apply to clean, dry skin that is free of creams and lotions, so the adhesive can stick well.
If your skin is sensitive, try a patch on a small area first. Our diabetes educators can help with infusion site rotation and skin care, in person or by telehealth.
