SeaTec Chin Strap

SeaTec SleepTight straps help keep your mouth closed during sleep while you use CPAP or bilevel therapy with a nasal or nasal pillows mask. Two styles are available, each in small, medium and large.

• Chin strap: a multi-strap design with adjustable top and back straps, and a larger chin cup that also supports the bottom lip
• Mouth and chin strap: the same multi-strap design, plus a section that sits up over the mouth
• Made from elastic material for comfort
• Helps with dry mouth, air bubbling through the lips and air swallowing caused by mouth leaks

Choosing a size

Measure from under your chin, over the top of your head just in front of your ears, and back to your chin. Small fits about 54 cm, medium about 60 cm and large about 66 cm. Each size adjusts a little either way.

Before you buy

Mouth leaks can also come from a mask that does not fit well. Our Sleep Clinic can check your mask fit and help you choose between a chin strap and a different mask style.

Which style should I choose?
The chin strap supports the jaw. The mouth and chin strap also covers the lips, which may suit you if air still escapes through your lips.

Can I use it with a full face mask?
These straps are designed for use with nasal and nasal pillows masks.
