A rectangular patch from Rockadex, made to suit Medtronic Guardian CGM sensors. It is designed to help keep your sensor secure on the skin.
H2O Plain uses Rockadex's water-resistant H2O tape. The maker offers it for a stickier hold, for example in hot weather or for swimming. Press it on firmly, as the tape is heat activated.
Shaped for Medtronic Guardian sensors. Rockadex makes a separate cut for the Medtronic Simplera.
Clean the skin with soap and water or an alcohol wipe, and dry it well. Peel off half the backing, place the patch over your device, then peel the rest and smooth it down. Rub the edges to warm the tape and help it stick.
If your skin is sensitive, try the patch on a small area first. Our diabetes educators can help with site choice and skin care around your sensor, in person or by telehealth.

Rockadex suggests replacing the patch with each new sensor.
Which style should I choose?
Plain and patterned differ in look. Rockadex suggests H2O tape for swimming and hot weather.
