ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet

The ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet is an automatic CPAP machine for people living with obstructive sleep apnoea. It adjusts the air pressure breath by breath through the night, within the range your sleep physician sets.

• Built-in heated humidifier, adjusted by hand or automatically with Climate Control
• AutoRamp starts at a low pressure and increases once it detects you have fallen asleep
• Expiratory pressure relief (EPR) lowers the pressure as you breathe out
• AutoSet for Her and AutoSet Response modes, for women and for people who find pressure increases hard to tolerate
• Touchscreen, plus the myAir app with guided set-up videos and nightly therapy feedback

Before you buy

CPAP is used once sleep apnoea has been diagnosed with a sleep study. Your pressure settings should come from your sleep physician. Our Sleep Clinic can set up your machine, fit your mask and review your data with you in the first weeks. Book a consultation if you are new to CPAP.

Care

Follow the cleaning and filter replacement guidance in the user guide. ResMed advises replacing the air filter at least every 6 months, or sooner if it is clogged or damaged.

Funding

The AirSense 11 is a private purchase. Some private health insurance extras policies contribute towards CPAP machines, so check with your fund.

Questions

Does the AirSense 11 need a mobile signal?
The machine works without one. Cellular connectivity is used for wireless data sharing, remote settings changes and some myAir features.

Can I use my existing mask?
Most ResMed and other standard masks connect to the AirSense 11. Ask us if you are unsure about yours.
