The ResMed AirMini is a travel CPAP machine for people living with obstructive sleep apnoea. It weighs about 300 g and adjusts pressure automatically, within the range your sleep physician sets.
The machine comes with a power supply and drawstring bag. It works only with these ResMed masks: AirFit F20, AirTouch F20, AirFit F30, AirFit N20, AirTouch N20, AirFit N30 for AirMini and AirFit P10 for AirMini.
CPAP is used once sleep apnoea has been diagnosed with a sleep study. Your pressure settings should come from your sleep physician. Our Sleep Clinic can set up your machine, fit your mask and help you choose a setup pack.
Clean the tubing weekly. Replace the tubing and the air filter at least every 6 months, and HumidX within 30 days of opening.
A private purchase. Some private health insurance extras policies contribute towards CPAP machines, so check with your fund.
Can I use my current mask with the AirMini?
Only if it is on the list above, with the matching connector or setup pack.
Can I use it on a plane?
ResMed states it meets US FAA requirements. Check with your airline before you fly.
