ResMed AirFit F40 Full Face Mask

The ResMed AirFit F40 is a compact full face CPAP mask that covers the nose and mouth. It suits people who breathe through their mouth at night, or whose nose is often blocked.

• AdaptiSeal silicone cushion, designed to adapt to your face and hold its seal
• Flexible curved frame covered in soft fabric padding
• Magnetic headgear clips and a quick-release elbow with a short tube
• QuietAir vent built into the cushion to reduce noise

Choosing a size

Choose by cushion size: small wide, medium or large. If you are not sure of your size, our Sleep Clinic can fit you before you buy.

Important

The mask contains magnets that may interfere with some implants and medical devices, such as pacemakers. Check the warnings in the user guide, and talk to us before you buy if you have an implant.

Care

Soak the parts in warm water with a mild liquid detergent and hand wash with a soft brush, paying attention to the vent. Rinse, then air dry away from direct sunlight.

Funding

A private purchase. Some private health insurance extras policies contribute towards CPAP masks, so check with your fund.

Questions

Does it fit my machine?
It connects to standard CPAP tubing, including on AirSense machines. It is not on ResMed's list of masks for the AirMini.

Is a full face mask right for me?
It usually is if you breathe through your mouth at night. If you feel closed in, a nasal mask covers less of your face.
