Smith+Nephew Remove wipes soften and lift adhesive and adhesive residue from the skin. People living with diabetes often use them when taking off a CGM sensor, infusion set or overpatch.
Hold a soaked wipe at the edge of the tape. Squeeze gently so the liquid runs between your skin and the adhesive, then lift the edge as it loosens. Wash the area with water and pat it dry.
For external use only. Do not use on open wounds, near the eyes or on mucous membranes. Smith+Nephew advises against use on children under 12, as it may cause irritation. The wipes are flammable, so use them in a well-ventilated area away from flames. If your skin is sensitive, try a wipe on a small area first.
If the skin around your sensor or pump sites is often sore, our diabetes educators can review your site rotation and removal routine with you.
A private purchase.
