The MiniMed Quick-serter is a reusable, hand-held insertion device for MiniMed Quick-set infusion sets. It helps people using a MiniMed insulin pump insert the infusion set more consistently.
Medtronic advises doing your first set-up with your healthcare professional. Our Credentialled Diabetes Educators can show you how to load and use the Quick-serter, and help with site choice and rotation.
Clean the serter after each use as set out in the user guide. This involves rinsing, soaking in a mild soap solution, brushing and air drying. Store it in the released position. Never point a loaded serter at any part of the body where you do not intend to insert.
A private purchase.
Does it work with Silhouette or Mio sets?
No. The Quick-serter is made for Quick-set infusion sets.
Can two people share one?
No. Medtronic states it is for single-patient use.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
