Make it a BlueLoop membership

This price will not change. NDSS prices are set by the scheme and are the same whether you are a member or not. What a membership adds is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator checking each box against your NDSS registration and the devices you use before it is packed, and everything you need arriving together.

Add BlueLoop, $10 a month

This opens the BlueLoop signup, which keeps whatever is already in your cart. The membership is $10 a month, charged separately from what is in your box. Delivery is $15 each time a box is sent, or collect free from Pharmacy 777 Bedford. No lock-in contract, cancel from your portal at any time.

NDSS Code: 662

The Medtronic Extended infusion set is designed to be worn for up to 7 days. This pack has a 6mm cannula and 80cm tubing.

  • Soft 6mm, 25 gauge cannula inserted at 90 degrees
  • Built-in inserter with one-press insertion, so no separate serter is needed
  • Worn for up to 7 days, so fewer set changes

Compatibility and what's included

Pack of 4 sets, supplied sterile and individually packaged, with 80cm tubing. Compatible with the MiniMed 780G, 770G and 670G insulin pumps. Medtronic code MMT-432AK.

Important

Use this set only with the Medtronic Extended Reservoir 3 mL. The standard reservoir is not labelled for 7 day use.

How to use

Medtronic indicates the set for the abdomen, back of the arm, lower back, buttocks and thighs. The cannula fill is 0.6 units.

Choosing and fitting

Our Credentialled Diabetes Educators can help you move to the Extended set and rotate your sites. Telehealth is available.

Care and replacement

Wear each set for up to 7 days, or as your insulin labelling allows, whichever is shorter. Replace it sooner if the tape lifts or the cannula comes out.

Funding

This product is subsidised through the NDSS for people registered with the scheme. See the NDSS pricing below.

Questions

Can I use my usual reservoir?
No. Only the Extended reservoir is labelled for 7 days.

What if my insulin runs out before day 7?
Medtronic allows a reservoir-only change, keeping the same infusion set in place.
