Lowenstein Prisma SMART max APAP with PrismaAQUA Humidifier and Heated Tube

The Löwenstein prisma SMART max is an automatic CPAP (APAP) machine for people living with obstructive sleep apnoea. It adjusts the pressure through the night, within the range your sleep physician sets.

• APAP and fixed CPAP modes, with two settings for how quickly the pressure responds
• Uses the Forced Oscillation Technique to tell obstructive and central apnoeas apart
• softPAP lowers the pressure as you start to breathe out, and softSTART raises it slowly as you fall asleep

• prismaAQUA humidifier warms and moistens the air to help stop your nose and throat drying out

Before you buy

CPAP is used once sleep apnoea has been diagnosed with a sleep study. Your pressure settings should come from your sleep physician. Our Sleep Clinic can set up your machine, fit your mask and review your data with you in the first weeks. Book a consultation if you are new to CPAP.

Questions

Does it need a mobile signal?
The machine works without one. The built-in modem uses the mobile network to send therapy data to prisma CLOUD for your care team.

Can I use my existing mask?
Most standard CPAP masks connect to the prisma SMART. Ask us if you are unsure about yours.
