The Löwenstein CARA is a full face CPAP mask that covers the nose and mouth. It suits people who breathe through their mouth at night or whose nose is often blocked.
Available in small, medium and large. A mask that seals without being pulled tight is the goal. If you are not sure of your size, our Sleep Clinic can fit you before you buy.
Clean the mask as described in the instructions for use that come with it. Replacement cushions and headgear are available, so worn parts can be replaced separately.
A private purchase. Some private health insurance extras policies contribute towards CPAP masks, so check with your fund.
Is a full face mask right for me?
It usually is if you breathe through your mouth at night. If you feel closed in, a nasal or nasal pillows mask covers less of your face.
Does it fit my machine?
The CARA connects to standard CPAP tubing. Ask us if you are unsure about your machine.
