JOBST Travel Socks are knee high, closed toe compression socks for long periods of sitting or standing, such as long flights or car trips. JOBST says they help reduce swelling and aching in the legs, ankles and feet.

  • 15-20 mmHg graduated compression (compression class 1)
  • Breathable, circular knit fabric with a wide top band
  • Black or beige

Sizing

Measure your ankle at its narrowest point and your calf at its widest. JOBST sizes are:

  • Size 1: ankle 18 to 21 cm, calf 27 to 37 cm
  • Size 2: ankle 20 to 23 cm, calf 30 to 40 cm
  • Size 3: ankle 22 to 25 cm, calf 33 to 43 cm
  • Size 4: ankle 24 to 27 cm, calf 36 to 46 cm
  • Size 5: ankle 26 to 29 cm, calf 39 to 49 cm

Before you buy

The right compression level should be chosen with your podiatrist, physiotherapist or GP. Compression is not suitable for everyone, for example some people with poor circulation in their legs, so check with a clinician first. Our PDC Health Hub podiatrists can measure you.

Care

JOBST advises hand washing, or a gentle machine wash at 40°C in a laundry bag, with a mild liquid detergent. Do not use powder or bleach, and do not wring the garment. Dry indoors or in the shade, laid flat.

Funding

A private purchase.

Questions

When should I put them on?
Put them on before you travel, ideally first thing, when your legs are least swollen.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
