Glutose 15 is an oral glucose gel for treating a hypo. Each single-dose tube delivers 15 g of glucose (dextrose).
Gel is only for someone who is awake and able to swallow. Check the label and follow the directions for use on the pack.
Follow your hypo action plan for how much to take and when to recheck. Our diabetes educators can help you write or review a hypo plan.

Do not give anything by mouth. Place them on their side, give glucagon if it has been prescribed and you are trained, and call 000.
