The Glucology Pocket Sharps Container is a small container for safely removing and holding used pen needles when you are out. It is designed for people using insulin or GLP-1 pens.
Remove the outer needle cap and put it in the household bin. Slide the opening across, push the needle tip in, then twist clockwise to release the needle inside. Slide it closed again before you pack it away.
Lock it when it is about three-quarters full. Glucology suggests daily pen users may need a new one every 2 to 4 weeks, and weekly GLP-1 users every 2 to 3 months. Ask your local council or pharmacy how to dispose of a full container in your area.
Choose a single container or a 3 pack.
A private purchase.
Can I put used needles in the household bin?
Not loose. Keep used sharps in a sealed sharps container and follow your local disposal rules.
Can our diabetes educators help?
Yes. They can show you safe needle removal and disposal as part of pen training.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
