This is bought once rather than sent on a delivery schedule, so there is no repeat delivery to choose. Add it to your cart on its own or with the rest of your order.
Glucology CGM patches go over a FreeStyle Libre sensor to help keep it in place for the full wear. Glucology is an Australian brand.
Glucology states the patch fits the FreeStyle Libre 2, Libre 2 Plus and Libre 3 sensors. It does not list the Libre 3 Plus, so ask us before using it on that sensor. Singles come in beige, black, blue, cactus, flowers and planets, or choose a beige 10 pack.
Start with clean, dry skin with no oil or lotion. Peel off the first backing, line the patch up over the sensor, then remove the second backing and smooth the edges down. Do not apply it over irritated, cut, scraped or burnt skin.
If your skin is sensitive, try one patch for a short time first. If skin under or around a patch becomes red, itchy or sore, remove it and talk to your diabetes educator or GP. Our diabetes educators can help with sensor sites and skin care, in clinic or by telehealth.
A private purchase.
Does a patch replace the sensor's own adhesive?
No. It adds extra hold. Apply the sensor as Abbott directs first, then add the patch.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
