The FRIO Large is a reusable cooling wallet for carrying in-use insulin. It cools by evaporation after a soak in cold water, so it needs no ice packs or fridge.
Inner wallet about 140 mm by 180 mm. Choose blue or black. Pens, cartridges and vials are not included.
Soak the wallet in water for 5 to 10 minutes until it swells, then put your insulin inside. Soak it again to recharge it.
A FRIO wallet is not a replacement for a fridge for unopened insulin. Check your insulin's storage instructions. Our diabetes educators can help you plan insulin storage, hypo supplies and sick day plans for travel.
Is the Large or the Duo right for me?
The Duo holds 2 pens. The Large holds 4 pens, or vials and syringes, which suits longer trips.
