The FRIO Duo is a reusable cooling wallet for carrying in-use insulin pens. It cools by evaporation after a soak in cold water, so it needs no ice packs or fridge.
Inner wallet about 180 mm by 70 mm. Choose blue or black. Pens are not included.
Soak the wallet in cold water until it swells, then put your insulin inside. To recharge it, soak it again. Follow the instruction leaflet in the pack for soak times.
A FRIO wallet is not a replacement for a fridge for unopened insulin. Check your insulin's storage instructions. Our diabetes educators can help you plan insulin storage, hypo supplies and sick day plans for travel.
How long does it stay cool?
FRIO says at least 45 hours from one soak. Soak it again to recharge it.
