The FreeStyle Optium Neo is a meter from Abbott that tests both blood glucose and blood ketones. It suits people living with diabetes who have been advised to check ketones as well as glucose.
Uses FreeStyle Optium blood glucose strips and FreeStyle Optium β-Ketone strips, sold separately. Results can be downloaded with FreeStyle Auto-Assist Neo, up to 1000 events.
Abbott advises that people with diabetes and raised ketone levels seek medical advice. Follow your sick day plan. Our diabetes educators can show you how to use the meter and help you write a sick day plan.
