FreeStyle Optium β-Ketone test strips measure ketones in a drop of blood. They are for people living with diabetes who have been advised to check blood ketones, using the FreeStyle Optium Neo meter. Each pack holds 10 strips.
For the FreeStyle Optium Neo meter, sold separately. For glucose tests, the same meter uses FreeStyle Optium blood glucose strips.
Ketone testing is usually part of a sick day plan for people who use insulin. Follow your plan or your diabetes team's advice. Our diabetes educators can help you write a sick day plan and show you how to test.

The FreeStyle Optium Neo, which tests both blood glucose and blood ketones.
Can I use these strips for glucose?
No. They measure ketones only. Use FreeStyle Optium glucose strips for glucose tests.
