Bongo Rx EPAP Starter Kit

The Bongo Rx is a reusable nasal EPAP device. The manufacturer states it is for the treatment of mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea. The Starter Kit includes all four sizes, so you can find the one that fits you best.

• Soft silicone nasal seals sit just inside the nostrils
• One-way valves open as you breathe in, then close as you breathe out, creating pressure that helps keep the airway open
• No machine, hose, electricity or batteries needed
• Can be worn with or without the headgear

Before you buy

If you think you have sleep apnoea, or it has been diagnosed, see your GP or our Sleep Clinic before using the Bongo Rx. It is designed for mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea, not severe sleep apnoea. It relies on breathing through your nose during sleep, so some people also need a chin strap.

Care and replacement

Clean the device with soap and water as shown in the instructions, and dry it on the stand. Replace it every 90 days. Refill 4 packs come in one size.

How do I know which size fits?
Try each size. The right one sits comfortably just inside the nostrils and seals without being pushed in hard. Our Sleep Clinic can help.

Can I use it instead of CPAP?
Only on the advice of your sleep physician. Some CPAP users use it for travel or camping, where power is not available.
