The Bongo Rx is a reusable nasal EPAP device. The manufacturer states it is for the treatment of mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea. This pack is the refill for people who have used the Bongo Rx Starter Kit and know their size.

  • Four Bongo Rx devices in one size: small, medium, large or extra large
  • Soft silicone nasal seals sit just inside the nostrils
  • One-way valves open as you breathe in, then close as you breathe out, creating pressure that helps keep the airway open
  • No machine, hose, electricity or batteries needed
  • Includes headgear, a travel case and a drying stand

Before you buy

If you think you have sleep apnoea, or it has been diagnosed, see your GP or our Sleep Clinic before using the Bongo Rx. It is designed for mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea, not severe sleep apnoea. It relies on breathing through your nose during sleep, so some people also need a chin strap.

Care and replacement

Clean the device with soap and water as shown in the instructions, and dry it on the stand. Replace each device every 90 days, so a 4 pack lasts about a year.

Funding

A private purchase.

Questions

Which size do I need?
Choose the size that fitted best from your Starter Kit. If you have not used the Bongo Rx before, start with the Starter Kit, which has all four sizes.

Can I use it instead of CPAP?
Only on the advice of your sleep physician. Some CPAP users use it for travel or camping, where power is not available.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
