The Accu-Chek FastClix is a lancing device for finger-prick blood glucose checks. It uses drums of 6 pre-loaded lancets, so you never handle a bare lancet.
Uses Accu-Chek FastClix lancet drums only. The device is about 105 mm long and weighs about 21 g with a drum.
Start on a low depth, around 2, and go deeper only until you get enough blood. Slide the lever after each check to move to a fresh lancet. The device is for one person only. Talk to your diabetes educator before using sites other than your fingertips.
A private purchase.
What depth should I use?
Roche suggests starting around depth 2 and increasing until you get enough blood. Softer, thinner skin needs a lower setting.
Can I share it with family?
No. Roche says it is for one person only, to avoid cross-infection.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
