Camp Quokka 2026 ran from Friday 25 to Monday 28 September in Augusta, hosted by Lions with PDC Health Hub. Camp is about time: time in the bush, time away from routine, and time with other people who understand what living with diabetes asks of you day to day.
The days were deliberately unhurried. There was hiking, fishing, arts and crafts, a games night and marshmallows by the campfire, and plenty of room to do none of that and simply sit somewhere quiet.
