PDC Health Hub is accredited by the National Association of Diabetes Centres at the Secondary Care level. It is a diabetes-specific standard that looks at the whole service: how it is run, how education is delivered and how clinical care is measured and improved.

In plain English
Most health service accreditation checks that a practice is safe in general. NADC accreditation is built for diabetes. Its standards look at three things together: governance, diabetes education and clinical care.
The standards ask a service to show that actions are being taken, that its own data is used to guide what it does, and that safety and quality improve over time. NADC accredits diabetes services at several levels: Primary Care, Secondary Care, Tertiary Care, Centre of Excellence and Pharmacy.
For you, it means the team you see is organised around diabetes. Credentialled diabetes educators, dietitians, exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, podiatrists and pharmacists work to one set of diabetes standards and share one plan for your care.
Keeping it current
Accreditation is not permanent. NADC tells each accredited service when its accreditation is due for review, and the service has to show again that it meets the standards.
NADC publishes its list of currently accredited services on its website, so you can check our status yourself.
