Join us for WA's largest community diabetes event - on World Diabetes Day.

The PDC Diabetes & Health Expo 2026 brings the Western Australian diabetes community back together for a full day of education, connection, technology, and empowerment. Whether you live with diabetes, care for someone who does, or work in health, there's something here for you - and everyone is welcome.

What's to expect

Across the day you'll find:

  • Free health checks - including foot checks, HbA1c testing, and more, delivered by PDC's own Pharmacists, Credentialled Diabetes Educators and Podiatrists
  • Diabetes technology demonstrations - see and try the latest CGMs, insulin pumps, smart pens, etc
  • An all-day exhibition hall - an opportunity to connect with all the major diabetes device companies, community organisations, support services, and researchers
  • Expert education sessions - running across multiple streams throughout the day
  • The PDC Diabetes Summit - a special session bringing together the diabetes community with Government Ministers, local MPs, and Senior Health Leaders to talk about the issues that matter: technology access, stigma, prevention, and new treatments and research

Who it's for

  • People living with all types of diabetes - Type 1, Type 2, GDM, Type 3c LADA, MODY - and their families and carers. If you've got any type of diabetes, or support someone who does, you are welcome!
  • GPs, Endocrinologists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Diabetes Educators, and Allied Health Professionals (a dedicated healthcare professional stream runs all day)
  • Students, researchers, and anyone with an interest in health and wellbeing

Tickets

  • General Admission - $12: full-day access to all sessions, the exhibition hall, technology demonstrations, and free health checks.
  • General Admission + Lunch - $20: everything in General Admission, plus catered lunch on the day.

Please select the lunch-inclusive ticket by 24th October if you'd like lunch provided, so we can confirm numbers with the catering team.

Program

A full program with session times and speakers will be shared soon! Attendees are welcome to move freely between sessions, the exhibition hall, and health checks throughout the day. You can even leave the venue and come back later if you need to pop out - the day is all about making it work for you.

Getting here

Murdoch Conference and Events Centre (Boola Katitjin) is on the Murdoch University Campus, making it easily accessible by public transport. There is also parking available on-site.
