Weight Management

Weight management is about maintaining a healthy weight based on your height, age and ethnic background.

Often, a healthy weight is defined by measures such as Body Mass Index (BMI) and waist circumference, but it is also important to consider things such as the amount and type of physical activity you do and the types of foods you eat on a regular basis, regardless of what the scales say.

At PDC Allied Health, Dietitians will work with you to establish healthy eating habits (not a ‘diet’) and develop healthy lifestyle changes. Research shows that the best way to lose weight is through small, achievable, long term changes rather than quick fixes or fad diets.
