Our highly anticipated annual diabetes technology summit is back for another year!
Join PDC Health Hub and the T1D Collective as we invite global leaders in diabetes technology, everyday 'real life' users, health care professionals and people living extraordinary lives with T1D to our much anticipated T1D Tech Summit for 2022.
Together, we'll hear from the diabetes technology companies about the future innovations in technology, how we can make the most of the technology available to improve our lives, and what we can expect in the future. But that's not all. This year we will be featuring stories & experiences from ordinary people living extraordinary lives with T1D - and we'll find out how they use T1D tech to do this. We'll hear from the legendary Dr Jeremy Robertson (thanks to his hard work, he became Australia's first commercial pilot with T1D and now others can stay or become a pilot if they have T1D, too!), a police officer, a lawyer, a med student juggling studies & T1D, a mum of two, a teacher and more!
Once again, this event will be offered online too for those unable to attend in-person.
This event will feature presentations which show the integration of diabetes technology into everyday life and how you can make the technology work for you, hear how our T1D Dietitian uses and recommends the use of technology, plus find out what's available and how to access it. For those who would like to refresh and upskill in what's available and how it works, there will be presentations covering this from experienced healthcare professionals. Don't forget the food and drinks, opportunities to network with the representatives from the technology companies, and meet other like-minded people living with diabetes, too!
Following the conclusion of the summit, we will be hosting a 'social/sundowner drinks' event nearby that everyone is welcome & encouraged to join us for! It will be such a great opportunity to mingle with others living with T1D, catch up with old friends, debrief some of the days info, ask questions and debrief diabetes life in general!
As an event being organised and delivered by people with type 1 diabetes, for people living with type 1 diabetes, we can assure you - this is not an event to be missed!
